Time Inc. today announced that each of its 21 United States titles, including Entertainment Weekly and Instyle, will be available as a tablet edition by the end of this year.
Time Inc. said that it will make his first major United States magazine publisher to place the entire portfolio on all major platforms of the Tablet, with products specifically designed for this specific category of personal computers.
In addition, the company said that it had reached agreement with Barnes & Noble sell digital subscriptions and single copies of four of his most popular titles on the color of the corner, starting later this month, with the rest of the portfolio to follow by the end of 2011.
To date, the time Inc. says that its digital magazine and other content applications such as time, sports illustrated, people and fate have been downloaded over 11 million times. Publishers said that he, too, has sold more than 600.000 digital copies of one of the four titles.
Time Inc. offers apps for iPad, Android tablets, HP touch panel and the next issue of the Media Vault.
Interestingly, each print subscribers (28 million), time Inc. shall have the possibility of their annual subscription to include digital editions at no additional charge.
