We reported a few weeks ago that Apple potentially looking at TSMC (otherwise known as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.) to begin work on their next-generation processor A6. Apple seems to have made up their mind during the interim period that the partnership was reaffirmed on Friday the Chinese Economic News Service.

TSMC, the world's largest manufacturer of semiconductor, reportedly has already started trial launch new chip. A6's design is not finished yet, but the company aims to have a final product perfect Q1 2012, in time for its grand public unveiling several months after that.

From the A6, it is expected that the new generation iPads and iPhones, Apple in TSMC dates of production means that any iPad 3s sitting under whose Christmas tree this year.
